1972

Foundation

Highway Senior School was established with a vision to provide quality education and holistic development to young men in Nairobi, Kenya.

1980s

Growth & Expansion

The school expanded its facilities, adding new laboratories, dormitories, and sports fields to accommodate the growing student body.

1990s

Academic Recognition

Highway Senior School gained national recognition for academic excellence, consistently ranking among the top schools in KCSE results.

2000s

Modern Transformation

Major infrastructure upgrades including 10 state-of-the-art laboratories, ICT integration, and modern learning facilities were introduced.

2020s

Competency-Based Excellence

Adoption of the Competency-Based Curriculum with STEM, Social Sciences, and Arts & Sports pathways. Multiple national and East African championships achieved.
